THE 411: GOT DIVERSITY?
As the fourth most diverse campus in the West Region, Cal Poly Pomona's diversity enriches all of our experiences. Embracing our differences and providing resources such as cultural libraries, celebrations, and speakers, the Cultural Centers provide a multitude of programs to support Cal Poly Pomona's diverse student body.


African American Student Center (AASC) (bldg. 95)
The AASC is dedicated to student development and improving cross cultural awareness. They are committed to assisting Black / African American college students in successfully completing their degree programs. Asian & Pacific Islander Student Center (APISC) (bldg. 95)
The APISC is dedicated to the promotion, education and celebration of the Asian and Pacific American community. It coordinates projects, resources, and services designed to meet the needs of Cal Poly Pomona's Asian and Pacific Islander students, while providing an open environment to engage and learn about important issues regarding the community.

César E. Chávez Center for Higher Education (bldg. 95)
The César E. Chávez Center for Higher Education is dedicated to increasing the outreach, recruitment, retention, graduation, and cultural pride of Chicanos/Latinos at Cal Poly Pomona. Some of their goals include the development of students' leadership and academic skills, special support for students with academic difficulties, and the development of relationships with schools, agencies and the communities surrounding Cal Poly Pomona

The Pride Center (bldg. 26-107)
(Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Questioning & Ally Resource Center)
The mission of the Pride Center is to provide a safe and supportive environment for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community at Cal Poly Pomona in which students may reach their academic and personal goals. http://www.dsa.csupomona.ed u/pride/default1.asp


Native American Student Center (NASC) (bldg. 26-102)
The NASC offers educational programs and activities that serve as a resource to members of the Cal Poly Pomona community while validating the cultural experience of students that are Native American. The NASC also makes a strong commitment to developing and maintaining relationships with Native American communities, tribal entities, organizations, and agencies.

The ReEntry & WoMen's Resource Center (bldg. 95)
The ReEntry & WoMen's Resource Center provides services to both current students (25 years plus) and those who are thinking of returning to school. The WoMen's Resources also offers support groups, topical workshops, referrals and programs including discussion groups and organization affiliations. http://dsa.csupomona.edu/thecenter/
