I needed to pass this class in order to register and take the next level class, basically a preliminary class or prerequisite whatever you wanna call it.
If it’s any comfort, I have gotten two D's during my time here at Cal Poly. Both of the D's were in my support courses. I was devastated. My department said a D was considered passing, however, when I spoke with my advisor she recommended that I repeat the courses. I decided to repeat the classes and got tutored in addition to reading the textbook. I was glad that I took her advice because it paid off. I got B's in both classes the second time around and I learned a lot more. When you repeat a class, you will learn more and definitely do better the second time around. Good luck to you.
