That is only one part of the reason. The competitors within our division are mostly on the East Coast according to the Poly Post article, not enough funds to support the project from the start and for the operation. And unless the student's registration fee increases over one hundred dollars each quarter, the university can not manage sufficient funds for the operation. In my opinion, I don't even think the preliminary votes during the initial stage will even get passed because a large percentage of Cal Poly Pomona students will vote against it.
