Well I'm facing the decision now of which campus to go to...

Main choices now is SLO and Pomona....

Applies to UCSB, UCI, and UCR but seeing how the student to professor rate is... I figured cal poly is a better choice.

Anyhoo... I live in SoCal where CPP is only 30minutes away. And I visited the campus. A few days ago I also visited the CP SLO campus.
Heres my opinions about the two:

CPP
Shorter walking distance building to buildings
Dorms look much better than SLO
Buildings/environment is pleasing and great
Close to Home
great rotc program

CPSLO
Close to the beach
reputed Engineering program
Away from the stresses of LA
Engineering buildings spread across campus
alot of walking
To me campus isnt visually pleasing as CPP

More specifics on myself I plan on doing Electrical Engineering. I'm also going to be doing rotc (not really for the money, Plan to serve the nation basically). Most likely will dorm in CPP to get away from home, unless I decide just to drive 30-40mins back and forth.

So far I alrdy got accepted into CPP. Still waiting for early decision from CPSLO. Gpa 3.6+ (UC based gpa), 3.8+ (my HS's gpa), Sat 1180.

watchu guys think... Im tempted to just go cpp. But cpslo always catches my eye too.
