| the mustangs did play well in the first half. putting a whole game together against even a halfway decent DI team has eluded this program since the BWC tournament two years ago. the good news is that the league still has riverside which stinks even more than poly. highlanders have a new coach who thinks he can play run and gun with inferior talent. won't happen.
as for hernandez he is for real. that said, the bronco guards shut him down with our very nasty defense. he shot 1-for-4. but he also can distribute the ball. poly south got creamed by their 6-11 big man who shot EIGHTY per cent from the field, many on dunks. poly north is in the same boat. nobody on the mustang roster can match up with that horse, and if you double team him chris will go lights out.
stanford by at least twenty. but then mustangs go back to their level with stanislaus state. and they do get to play riverside twice still. let's say 'stangs go 7-20 this year which actually is a move up. |
