It also shows that DI is all over the board when it comes to quality. UCI beat another DI team back east by more than 50 points. There are entire DI conferences like the MEAC, Patriot League, and SWAC that are far weaker than the DII CCAA.
BTW, there are ZERO athletic scholarships at UCSD. That means a virtual pick-up team almost beat a fully funded Mustang squad. Get a rope. I would be choking were I coaching at SLO.  |
