Hi everyone,
I used to be pretty active on here last year, but I haven't posted anything recently. Thought I'd give you all an update on what I've been up to:
I graduated Cal Poly Pomona this past summer with a BS in Electrical Engineering (the diploma's framed and on the wall!

)
I'm now going to Cal State LA for my Master's in Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis in power systems. It's a very nice campus. Almost every building is either newly constructed, or had an extensive renovation and remodeling. The faculty there is VERY nice, and every professor I've met seems excited to be there, and cares for the students' success.
One of the strange things I've experienced there is that when I walked into the food court for the first time, what's the first place I saw?
Kikka Sushi! I wondered if I was on the right campus!
I'm also working at an electrical engineering company in Brea. There's only 9 of us there, including myself. However, we work very well together, and are very busy. We perform electrical engineering for large industrial customers, including college campuses.
In a typical college campus, the transformers and cables that serve the buildings are the responsibility of the campus. In return, they get a lower electric rate. However, if something breaks or needs upgrading, it is the campus's responsibility. That's where we come in.
I've worked on 3 projects so far for Cal Poly SLO. I've worked on several projects for UCI, and we're currently working on a major project for Orange Coast College.
I always joke that after paying all this money to the CSU all these years, it's nice to be on the
receiving end of the money flow now!
Lastly, I'm still running my webhosting business. That is doing well.
I'll try to drop in every once in a while and see how things are going
