Gillian Sorensen, a senior adviser and national advocate at the United Nations Foundation, will speak on "The United Nations and the Challenges of the 21st Century." Sorensen has been responsible for outreach to civil society including non-governmental organizations and worked closely with diplomats, academics, parliamentarians and religious leaders committed to peace, justice, development and human rights.
