Will a 3.6 hurt my chances?

Ever since I was a Freshman, when my parents and I started to think about college, my parents have wanted me to attend Cal Poly SLO because of my growing (and still growing) interest in computers. Since then I've maintained at least a 3.8 GPA with advanced math (taking Pre Calc this year) and advanced science classes. I'm now a Junior and my last quarter's GPA was only a 3.6 (and I'm partially blaming this on the new uniform grading scale - went from being A-90%+, B-80%-89%, etc to A-92%+, B-82%-91%, etc).

So I have a few questions:
1. Will this hurt my chances of being accepted?
2. What was your highschool GPA?
3. What classes do you recommend that could better my chances?

Thanks for your time.
