THE 411
o ARE YOU READY TO GRADUATE?

You may have finished your last class and taken your last final, but have you completed your graduation checklist? If you have any questions, please contact the Registrar's Office at (909) 869-3290, or stop by the Registrar's Office located on the second floor of the CLA, Building 98.
Prior to final year
1. Check with your department to verify you have the correct Degree Requirement Evaluation
sheet for graduating.
2. Make an appointment with your advisor to answer any questions about class availability for
future quarters.
3. If you are planning to complete a minor, submit the Minor Contract to the Registrar's Office.
4. Make sure Grade Change forms have been submitted by your instructors and monitor your
academic history for changes.
5. Request that all transcripts from other colleges or universities be sent to Cal Poly Pomona.
6. Take and pass the Graduation Writing Test (GWT).

7. Regularly print out your academic history and compare it with your Degree Requirement
Evaluation sheet to verify you are taking the required classes.

Year of graduation
1. Submit your Grad Check when you have 10 or fewer classes remaining to graduate.
Completed Grad Checks are mailed or e-mailed within 30 - 90 days.

2. You must apply to graduate. Fill out the Application for Graduation, which is available in the
Registrar's Office, and pay the $40 fee at Cashier Services.

3. The deadline to apply for graduation is normally the seventh week of the quarter in which
you plan on graduating, but you should apply as early in the quarter as possible. The quarterly
Schedule of Classes has the dates as does the Registrar's office Web site:
http://dsa.csupomona.edu/registrar.
4. Meet with your department advisor. Some majors require a final review of classes and grades
prior to graduation.
5. Pay all library fines, parking tickets, holds and outstanding payments.
