I really hope that the weather is fine during your stay! In Stuttgart the temperatur will rise up to 86° in the next 10 days (according to www.wetter.com) and the sun will shine. It's time that the summer comes back!
(It has been raining for about two weeks and because of that there is a lot of flooding in Germany and Austria)
But in the mornings / evenings the temperature will drop down to 55°
Perhapse you could bring some sunbeams from California with you
