we have almost 4,000 students who live on campus. the oldest dorms, about seven or eight of them, are located across the street from the engineering bldgs. they are really old, maybe back to the 1950s and 1960s.
on the other side of campus are the suites. they are new and nice. but long waiting lists. great becuz they are right next to the gym, pool, handball courts, etc., so sweet if you like to work out.
then there is the village. these are on campus apts, about 30 or so multistory bldgs. they have a pool and a rec ctr and some activities over there.
we have a good bus circuit that takes you around becuz it's a big campus.
on the major thing good luck. you already know how hard it is to get in. you just can't switch anyold time into impacted majors.
