| Welcome Manny, finally another chemical engineer joins the forum. I am majoring into chemical engineering too. Some tips: be sure to be good in your math, physics and chemistry. The freshmen chemical engineering classes are not gonna be so fun. Do not think about changing majors because it will get fun into your sophomore year. In the first class, che 131 you get a chance to interact as a team member, since you will be designing a project which I won't tell you to avoid ruining the fun. Che 132 is an intro of topics that chemical engineers do, such as diffusion, energy balance on an AC system, and the chance to use matlab to solve complex problems, such as diffusion. Che 133 is about data analysis which is statistics for engineers, its an easy class so don't worry. PM or anything when you need help on something.
