I heard the same thing from my finance professor yesterday. Unfortunately, it seems that he is booked solid and his asking price is about $50,000 a speech or so. I hope he does come, but at the same time, spending that much on one person who became popular via a movie is too much. I don't know if Professor Escalante, who became famous in the movie "Stand and Deliver", ever had speaking engagements or that he would charge that much. |
