| About Time Well, then we agree. I had to piss of people before they saw the broader picture. Rank vs personal ability. Of course personal ability shatters any schools reputation (good and bad). But I am sick and tired of people jumping to conclusions based on some bias ranking created by a reputable corporations that makes about $500 million on the topic each year. Grade inflation exist in the so-called "elite universities". Not to mention favors and influence. I am not a Democrat, but I have to admit that President George Bush had a terrible g.p.a and he got into the two so-called top schools Harvard and Yale with a C- average. If other school's would inflate grades then we would see changes in what we stereotypically called "elite schools".
By the way, there have been several professor who really don't like our school and prefer to go to a "better school". I have no idea why the department allows this kind of negative feedback. But I guess they need a job and we need professors. |
