there is a lesson here, ppl. not everybody has the acumen to major in biz. classes in both finance and accounting are demanding, particularly if your math skills are weak. if you can't do well in basic college algebra i would recommend a softer major like communications. i have friends who changed majors rather than suffer through finance. the teachers can only dumb the material down so far. i would suppose the same applies to engr or science. that's why poly is such a high ranked school, cuz many majors are not cream puffs like other schools.
