I was wondering how many business majors had to repeat FRL 300 or 301? And how many Acc 207 or 208? It seems that everyone I speak to has had to repeat one of these courses. I think personally, that the business department can't hire professors who actually teach these classes. I had professor's who wouldn't change their teaching methods even if the class was failing. Honestly, some of these professors in these departments can't teach and the deans and department chairs seem not to care. Don't get me wrong there are great professors who teach students and state there willingness to work with students throughout the course. But then again, the good professors are the ones no one remembers while the bad one's are the one's everyone on campus tries to avoid. I hope that the new Dean of our Business school actually gets down and work with the students and the school. The FRL and ACC departments should be willing to work with students and not give us the lame excuse that we students are stupid and should change our majors.
