| During my CPP days I participated in a local bulletin board that I think was run by the school. We had to use our school account to log in. Anyway, the core group of users decided it would be fun to meet. We had a little gathering I can't remember where... I recall we met outside somewhere. We ended up standing around chatting for at least an hour. It was pretty fun to match faces with usernames and compare their in-person personality with their online persona. It was also interesting to see that some people were much creepier in person than online. All in all I thought it was a great experience. |
