| Well - if krk230 graduated from high school when i did (in '99) it makes sense. I graduated in the top 9% of my class with a 3.76 gpa, ap classes under my belt, a 1160 SAT (I took it once only) and a crazy list of awards, extracurricular activities and sports (including leadership positions in several different groups on campus and off). I was rejected from the 3 uc campuses i applied to (UCB, UCLA, and UCSD) and got accepted to UCR even though I didn't apply. the prinicpal at my school was so shocked by what had happened that he called up the colleges himself to find out why i didn't get accepted.
So I went to a community college and then tried again to get into UCLA after i received my aa and was rejected again (with a 3.76 gpa in college). ucs are freakin' insane to get into.
now i am a little disgruntled toward the whole system and am just trying to finish school at cpp before i go insane from being in school so long.
