No, not a meteor. It's not based on the movie. Physicists might say that the sun will die out someday and not give us gravity to sustain Earth. Some of these people may also claim that entropy will freeze the Earth. Don't ask me why because you are not supposed to really get physics but be able to make connections with equations.
I'll be very straight forward. I believe in a Biblical prophecy of Armageddon taking place in which the anti-Christ wipes out a lot of people during a tribulation and the bloodiest battle ever. The Christians will have rapture because of their covenant with Jesus Christ and be taken up into heaven. It is somewhere in the New Testament, try using the Book of John for background. This may sound out of place but is already out of context with what we are already discussing. If you wish to challenge this for a basis, then I'll have to finish reading the Bible even quicker.
